“Meet Mr. Alex…my new nephew”

I am one proud Auntie to announce that my new nephew Alex arrived last Monday! We have been anxiously waiting for his arrival, and couldnt be more excited that he is here safe and sound!.

I have been fortunate and very blessed to have been pregnant along side my sister in law; not once but twice. It will be great having our children grow up together, and I can just imagine all the fun they will all have together.

I know I said I was proud, however Im not sure who is more; myself or his big sister Jasmine=).

A little white and a little black…

I love black and white images. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE colour, but I absolutely love how black and white images really allows you to focus on the emotion of the image.

I did this shoot a couple weeks ago and as I was editing I knew that I wanted to do this post in black and white. This family has been blessed with a 4th child, and I know there isnt a day that goes by that they dont cherish baby Jacob.

Thank you for allowing me into your home. You are a very special family and God has blessed you with a beautiful little boy.

“Meet Mr. Cole…”

Maybe its because I have a son of my own, or maybe its just because Cole is an adorable little man, either way this little boy tugged at my heart strings. I loved holding him and loved having a newborn in my arms.

“The Million Dollar Family…”

The “P” family has been blessed with the ever sought after ‘million dollar family’ . Their little girl is beyond one of the sweetest girls I have ever known, and their son is absolutly handsome(as you can see from the photos!).

Although “F” is a sweet and gentle little girl, she is also a true farmer in the training. One second she is spinning around the house in her tutu and the next she is playing with her john deere tractors(she obviously knows that John deere is the best!). And Im certain that she will be teaching her younger brother all about the cows, tractors, and I can just picture her reading the Ontario farmer to him.

Thanks “P” family for letting me take some memories of your family – you truly are blessed with a beautiful family!

Showered with 8 days of gifts…

Day One – a home made knitted pink and a blue sweater with slippers.(because they didnt know if they were having a boy or girl)

Day Two - knitted sweater set, with a had, mitts, and slippers

Day Three - pants that were hand made

Day Four - a stuffed goat

Day Five - baby toys

Day Six – two fleece blankets for the new mommy and daddy

Day Seven - A gift certificate for a photography session with Shannon Steen Photography

Day Eight – Bath Products for the baby

Obviously after my “J” opened day seven she got a hold of me to book her session. When she told me about her 8 days of gifts I thought how awesome is that?!? Not only does the new mom and Dad get many gifts for their new baby boy, but also its a great way to get creative with the gifts you are giving.

I might just have to steal this idea =)
